MY SUMMER DIARY'16

• 24th June: My birthay!

 Last day was my birthday! And I celebrated it with my family and my lovely friends. We also celebrated "Sant Joan" and we throw firecrackers, it was amazing! Every year I have done years I have been very happy because I have been with the people who love. This year I will do 16 years! It's amazing how the years pass.

• 25th June: Ballet festival!

Last week it was the ballet festival! Every year, when we do them I'm very exited, because I really like to do it and I enjoy them alot. This year we did the festival in the «teatre municipal de Girona».The theatre was enormous and very cool! Many people came too see the show.  This year I enjoyed a lot because part of the theatre was great, I was very happy to dance.

• 11th July: The trip!

Yesterday my family and I got up very early because yestarday  started our trip to Andalusia. This vacations was very special because my friend Laura, also came to holiday with us. Laura and I were very excited to spend 10 days together. We left at 7 am, we had six hours drived to got to Murcia.We arrived at Murcia 2 pm and we went to lunch. Then we went to the hotel where we spent the first night. We were in the pool all afternoon. It was a fantastic day!

• 12th July: Pinos del Valle!

Yestarday is the day! Yesterday we went to Pinos del Valle (Granada) in our house we rented for the holidays. When we finished breakfast we took the car and we went to Pinos del Valle, a quiet little town. When we arrived we went to the house and we lunch. We loved the house, there was very nice.

• 15th July: Nerja and Málaga!

Yesterday we visited Nerja and Málaga. In the morning we stayed in the beach, there was incredible, the water was very clean! In the afternoon we visited the famous city of Málaga. The city was very big and there were alot of people. That day we reached 43 degrees, the day was very hot!

• 19th July: Marbella!

Yesterday we visited Marbella. The beach of Marbella was amazing!! In Marbella there was alot of ferraris, porshes and Lamborghinis. In Marbella the things that you buy there were very expensive, for exemple a T-Shirt costed 800€. In there, there was alot of boats spectaculars!

• 20th July: The trip has finished...

Yesterday we retorned to Banyoles... We were so sorry to left, because if there was great, but The trip has finished... This past holidays have been incredibles and unforgettables.

• 23rd July: The weekend!

Yesterday, my friends Mireia, Júlia and I  spent the weekend at a campsite in Estartit called "Castell Montgrí". It was a weekend fun!

 

ADELE

Adele was born in Tottenham, noth London, england on 5 May 1988. She is a famous singer and she started singing in 1992. At the age of thirteen Adele and her mother moved to Brixton, South London.

Her first record was Hometown Glory in 2004. At the age of eighteen she graduated in BRIT school. She released her break through song called "Hometown Glory" in October 2007. After that se released her second single called "Chaising Pavements" on 14 of January 2008. In 2008 and 2009 she travelled with her world tour "An evening with Adele". In 2010 she received a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Perfomance. In the summer of 2011 her song called "Someone Like you" broke a record. At the age of twenty-four she gave birth to a baby. In November 2015 she made a triumphant return with Hello.

Since 2008, Adele has lived in Notting Hill (London), she has published four albums and she has been succesful.

FORMAL LETTER (OPTION A)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to talk about how disappointed I am with the missing of activities for the teenagers in our town. I am writing this email because I think we need more activities of facilities when we don't have anything to do.

I am fourteen years old and in the weekend I don't know what to do with my friends because in the town, there is nothing for us. We would be less bored if you built a cinema or a leisure center.

If isn't possible, we would be happier if there were more activities in the town like concerts, parties,...

I hope this email helps teenegers being happier with our town.

THE LAST DAY OF MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

The last day of my Christmas holidays was different. I woke up at 11 o'clock, I went to the kitchen and I ate a sandwich with my parents while I was watching TV. The sandwich was delicious! After that I went to my room and I read a book. I love these days when I relax in my room reading. Later I went to my grandmother's house with my parents and we had lunch. I remembered we had beef with mushrooms for lunch. When we finished my grandmother gave us some rice for dinner because she had cooked a lot of it. Then we went back home, I went to my room and I watched some videos on my laptop. At 6 o'clock I ate an apple. After that, I chatted with my friends, and later, I ate some rice from my grandmother. Finally I watched TV with my parents and at 11 o'clock I went to bed.

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

Last week I watched The Theory of Everything. The director's name is James Marsh. The actors are Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones.

The film is a drama. The film has got a book, the author of the book is Hawking. The film was made in England, in the early 1960. The film is about the life of the scientist Stephen Hawking and his relations ship with wife Jane. He fall in love while studying at Cambridge University, but he has got a disease neuron. He became a great physicist.

The film is good. My favourite character is Stephen Hawing because he's very clever and brave.

The ending of the film is very sad but in my opinion it is interesting. I recommend this film to people who like true stories.
